Vedat Yelkenci

Vedat, carrying forward the legacy of his grandfather - a prominent shipowner and co-founder of Is Bank, Turkey's largest private financial institution - was educated in the UK and initially involved in his family's maritime enterprises in London, transitioned to an illustrious career across several industries.  In telecom, he spearheaded significant projects in Turkey, including the establishment of Comsat Digital Services Inc. and launching the country's first Build-Operate-Transfer telecom project.  He expanded into media by producing content for television, partnering with global media giants like CNN and Rupert Murdoch to launch pioneering broadcasting services, including Turkey's first private TV stations including MTV Turkey and private radio stations.

Having successfully exited these ventures, Vedat invested in prime central London real estate, working with noble landlords on innovative developments.  Recently, he ventured into the insurance industry, collaborating with Steve Williams to introduce cutting-edge, technology-driven insurance products, underscoring his ongoing commitment to innovation and entrepreneurship.
